Guided by this commitment, the <strong>University Library<\/strong> has developed a vibrant <strong>Community Outreach Program<\/strong> that strengthens partnerships between the University and the wider community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Through this initiative, the Library extends its knowledge resources and expertise beyond campus boundaries, promoting <strong>literacy<\/strong>, <strong>digital inclusion<\/strong>, and <strong>lifelong learning<\/strong> across the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Purpose of the Outreach Program<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The Karatina University Library Community Outreach Program aims to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Provide access to quality knowledge resources for community users<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Promote literacy, digital skills, and lifelong learning opportunities<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Create collaborative platforms for research engagement<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Foster partnerships between the Library and surrounding communities<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support the establishment of local community libraries to enhance access to information and promote a culture of reading<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>By sharing our resources, spaces, and expertise, we work to empower communities to learn, innovate, and thrive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Community Engagement Activities<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The Library\u2019s outreach activities are designed to address both educational and practical community needs. This is a group of enthusiastic student volunteers committed to promoting academic excellence and information literacy within and beyond the University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Knowledge Ambassadors<\/strong> receive training in areas such as digital literacy, research support, and academic integrity.
